At Noction, we are committed to fostering a culture of learning and development. We believe that by investing in our employees’ education and growth, we can not only improve the performance of our team but also the success of our company.
My name is Larisa Chiosea, I’m the HR Manager at Noction Moldova, and today I will guide you through learning initiatives available in our company.
Noction recognizes that every employee is different, with their own unique educational needs and goals.
Our workforce development policies are flexible and largely depend on employees’ initiative. We encourage all employees to choose and plan the desired training on their own, and the company, in its turn, comes with all the necessary resources and support.
This voluntary approach allows our employees to explore topics they are interested in and fosters their engagement in the educational process. As a result, the quality and effectiveness of training are constantly improving.
The fact that we factor in the learning results during the annual employee performance appraisal serves as an additional motivation for employees to be involved in educational initiatives and develop professionally.
One is compensating the costs for professional training, courses, and certifications employees attend to perform better in their roles.
In addition, every month, each employee is eligible for a Personal R&D Day. It can be used to attend conferences, workshops, or other training events or to conduct independent research on a topic of interest.
These policies allow employees to stay current and improve their job performance. This benefits the company by having a more knowledgeable and skilled workforce.
Noction is an international team serving clients all over the globe. That’s why a high level of English proficiency is a must for all Noction employees. The company provides all of its non-native English-speaking employees with an opportunity to improve their language skills due to a free English class right in the office.
The classes are typically held twice a week for an hour, covering all the essential aspects of business communication in English.
Despite the external (conducted by third-party specialists), our employees also have access to internal (conducted by colleagues) learning opportunities, including training and workshops organized in the form of iShare sessions.
Noction’s iShare – an in-house learning & development program is a great way to learn the best practices directly from your colleagues or share your expertise with others.
I’ve tried both roles. I’ve held two pieces of training as a presenter and attended almost all sessions organized by my colleagues. I’d like to mention that it’s an excellent experience for both – the presenter and the attendee. As a presenter, you practice public speaking, improve your communication and managing skills, and learn how to keep the audience engaged. As the attendee, you understand the internal company processes better, deepen your knowledge of the company’s culture & values, and gain new skills and knowledge.
We launched “iShare” at the beginning of 2022 as a test and were surprised by the number of applications received. It was clear that there was a great deal of enthusiasm for it. Throughout the last year, we conducted a total of 11 “iShare” sessions covering a variety of subjects, from sketching to C++ programming. And we hope for even more in 2023.
If you are passionate about learning and development and are looking for an opportunity to grow and advance your career, Noction is the place for you. We are always looking for talented and dedicated individuals to join our team. With our various learning and development initiatives, you’ll have the opportunity to acquire new skills and knowledge, and to be part of a company that truly values employee development
