Processing and exporting flows to ClickHouse is now up to 9x faster in NFA, especially under high traffic load conditions. This means faster, more efficient processing of large volumes of data, enabling you to manage and analyze network traffic with unprecedented speed and accuracy. With these performance enhancements, users can expect a smoother and more responsive experience, particularly when working with extensive datasets.
NFA now includes new features that enhance its usability and extend its functionality. The introduction of unregistered devices management allows for efficient addition and oversight of network components exporting data to NFA. All devices exporting data to the system but not yet registered by NFA admins now fall under the “Unregistered” category. These can be subsequently named, edited and registered as per the admin requirements. The addition of logo management functionality in this release offers a personalized touch to the NFA interface.

The system now automatically populates application name information from attributes received via IPFIX/NetFlow v9 and sFlow. We’ve added support for IANA Prefixed and ETHERNET classification engines and basic support for the DataLinkFrameSection IPFIX information element, enhancing the depth of data available for analysis.
