NFA v23.04 is here, featuring the initiator/responder classification of bidirectional flows
Support for the initiator/responder flow classification of bidirectional flow records
NFA is now one of the few network traffic analyzers that support and interpret flow data from specific devices, such as Cisco ASA, exporting NetFlow v9 or IPFIX bidirectional flow records that contain fields with separate forward and reverse flow byte/packet counters.
With the newly added initiator and responder flow classification, the corresponding filtering and grouping parameters are now available both in Data Explorer and the BGP Sankey diagram. This allows for greater network troubleshooting capabilities and a better understanding of the overall traffic characteristics for networks where the export of bidirectional flows is present.
NFA v23.04 has just been released and includes several exciting features and product enhancements. Here is a short overview of the key changes and improvements that you can expect from this latest version.

New columns for displaying max and min values per direction in the bidirectional grouping view in Data Explorer.
Navigate to the bidirectional grouping view in the Data Explorer and look for the new columns labeled Maximum/Minimum from (A) to (B) and from (B) to (A). These columns will display the highest and lowest values for each direction, respectively, providing you with even greater insights into your data.
