Another improvement comes with the addition of browser notification settings management (Profile > Browser Notifications). Users now have more control over how and when they receive notifications directly in their browser, allowing for a more tailored and responsive monitoring experience. Furthermore, the front end now offers an easy way to enable or disable dictionary requests for specific fields in Data Explorer, providing flexibility in how data is queried and displayed.
For smoother operations, we have updated our ClickHouse dependency to the latest 24.8 LTS version, ensuring better performance and long-term stability. Additionally, SNMPd now logs EngineID, EngineBoots, and EngineTime for each request, simplifying the detection of EngineID duplications, a common challenge in SNMP environments. On the usability front, the date picker now includes a “Last 24 hours” preset, while the top bar appears to alert users when a new version is available and provides easy access to the changelog.
